The Western States School of Banking is a New Mexico-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing the finest in banking education to banking professionals.
WSSB's Board of
Directors is comprised of Bank Executives from banks throughout New
Mexico and Colorado. Three of our Board Members represent the
Independent Community Bankers Association of New Mexico (www.icbanm.org), the Independent Bankers of Colorado (www.ibcbanks.org) and the New Mexico Bankers' Association (www.nmbankers.com).
WSSB maintains its administrative offices in Farmington, New Mexico, while its Executive Director, Mark Fidel, resides in and works in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
WSSB's certificate courses are offered in Albuquerque, NM, Las Cruces, NM and a limited schedule is offered in Colorado Springs, CO.
The in-class segment of WSSB's two-year banking program takes place on the campus of New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
The Western States School of Banking admits students without consideration of race, color, gender, national, or ethnic origin. Admission is granted in order of receipt of applications and acceptance into the program.
