Why should attending WSSB^® be your next step? Here are eight key reasons:

1.    Outstanding Value – In an era of downsizing, merging, and belt-tightening, every penny counts. The WSSB^® program is an excellent value for your education dollar. Our extremely competitive tuition rate of $2,490 for first year students and $2,295 for 2nd year students includes single room accommodations on the NMSU campus, most meals, special events, and all instructional materials.

2.    Learn While You Work – The condensed WSSB program lets you advance your education while maintaining employment. Our two, eight-day sessions concentrate classes into a manageable schedule in June of two consecutive years. The correspondence portion of the program requires about 30 hours per quarter to complete.

3.    Designed for Professionals – If you work in a commercial bank or thrift, or in a state or federal agency that supervises commercial banks or thrifts, the WSSB^® program is for you. Regardless of experience or bank size, every banking professional can benefit from this program.

4.    Expert Instructors – WSSB’s nationally recognized faculty members have years of experience working at leading universities, banks, and consulting firms. Our talented faculty develop courses based on the newest information and work closely with students during discussions, case studies, and simulations.

5.    Real World Application – Between sessions you’ll work on a series of projects that let you apply on the job what you learned at school. These projects focus on your bank’s profitability management; sales, service, and marketing; and human resource development. This process also prepares you for your senior year when you participate in a bank simulation project.

6.    Geared for the Adult Student – The WSSB^® curriculum is designed to encourage interaction between faculty and students while developing academic and professional growth. The 60-minute classes are small enough to enable classmates to interact and learn from each other.
