Marketplace Internal and External Analysis (MIE)

The marketplace will create the environment in which students will learn to achieve the desired outcomes for their bank. Students will use the MIE Analysis and research as the starting point for success in the other Intersession Project components. The quality of the research done in this phase will determine achievement, learning, success, and comprehension in the other three: 1) Financial Performance: Liability/Assets Management, taught by Phill Rowley; 2) Credit Risk Management, taught by Jeff Judy; and 3) Dynamic Marketing, taught by Jay Toups.

Although this part of the students’ Project is not graded, the WSSB Executive Director will review its content and provide feedback to make certain that it is of the quality required when presenting information to senior management.
